I found some interesting links in my daily blog reading that I thought people would like to check out:
CopyBlogger has a post on eliciting emotional response in readers.
Chris Brogan specifically talks about personal branding. My favorite part of his post is the following quote: “Confidence (not arrogance) is the secret sauce to everything you do with regards to personal branding.”
It’s so important to differentiate between confidence (which generally elicits happy response from the blogging community) and arrogance (which elicits annoyance from anyone). Of course you can use arrogance to be funny or to point out the silliness in something – but not as a general rule.
